What have you got?

A family who are supporting me.

A bed- very handy.

God- heard He’s handy too.

A working laptop! I saved up for this!!

Music. Need I say more?

Food.

Water!

I have got paints, oil and acrylic, although quickly running out of white. A sad camera phone, which I think works in my favour when taking quick pictures, but not so well for documenting painting progress. I don’t mind it catches light really nice sometimes. It’s a bit temperamental like its owner.

4) Website/ Blog is updated!

I have written quite a bit personally and for the blog. I took the Lockdown as a time to research extensively and read a whole lot. I gardened for its multipurpose function- therapy, exercise and art. I have spoken with Mon Jansen about my practice and shared interests. Joined permaculture online communities as well as spoke a bit with our art collective Potluck. Although I have been hermit-ting for the most part due to assessment these days.

I have been searching for spiritual guidance as well to keep me sane and grounded.

We want you to take photos/draw / make lists.

Studio environment

I have a large workspace, a sort of basement garage turned to a bedroom/ studio.

An easel, however, no frames/ pre-made canvases to scribble on.

So the easel hangs some tote bags at the moment.

Large floor plan to share my Pilates mat and paintings. I like spreading my papers everywhere around me. The room is tiled so spillage is not an issue.

Your workspace

Don’t have a desk. Will work on that. I work on the dining table, the sofa, or my bed usually.
