Creating a Micro-climate, giving the soil protection, an area where moisture can be held in a hot climate.

Conventional Agriculture- chemical spray, deep cultivation and artificial fertilizer. This came from vested interested. Kill the remnants of the last crops, turn the soil with the plough and then plant new crop.

You don't need to use synthetic fertilizers, you can save you money etc.

If you embrace carbo crops- take your expenditure which is 1/4 of the price.

Monoculture crops of ryegrass or clover are out- He's planted 25 species of them. Diversity is a no- brainer.

Regenerative Agriculture-

Essentially we are growing soil. We are not after perfection, we are after diversity.

Get healthy soil which leads to healthy animals so we can get healthy food.

Its about carbon, trying to build carbon in your soil. Replicate nature the way in which it used to before e we tinkered with it. Diversity is key. They self medicate - Lamb. They can get away from the heat too. So its practical.

He crushes old crop while planting new crop with one machine. Flattening the crops, creating a cover that allows decomposition and soil building. Carbon to increase. Keeping living roots. We are feeding biology with the green solar panel of plants pumping liquid carbon into the soil.

HE sows seeds without cultivating.

Different fungi work together utilising different fungi in the ground. Nitrogen fixing, buckwheat, cultivators like sunflowers.

Not perfection, get the biology out there and trusting that it moves- healthy soil, healthy animals healthy food.

Treating cattle with love. Give them diversity. They self medicate.

Get more life on your farm,

When you remove herbicides , pesticides and the like you have life, and you don't kill the life in your soil.

When

15-60 varieties of plants. Inquisitiveness. You're not the same thing all the time.
